Before going away to college, eager students cannot wait to move out of mom and dads house and into freedom of dorm life. But after a school year of shaving cream fights, constant study time interruptions, and lack of privacy, students cannot wait to get out of the dorm room and into an apartment rental. However, a lot is involved with apartment rentals. Living in a dorm room is not too different from mom and dads. Your room is assigned, the necessary furniture is supplied, and there is not much more freedom. On the other hand, with apartment rentals a student has to buy his own furniture, get the cable television installed, and pay utility bills. This is a lot of responsibility for someone who has to maintain a students life by going to class during the day and studying at night. But you do not have to be a Valedictorian to figure it all out.

Many designers believe that marketing the widest range of services to the largest possible group is the path to success. You’d rather be a generalist because you think you’ll get more business.
But in reality, it doesn’t work that way.
In fact, success comes to those who focus on the smallest number of activities most likely to yield the quickest and largest return.

How do you know if your employees are in the “burnout” zone? Sometimes a tired employee is still a happy employee…one who has worked hard and feels totally satisfied from their accomplishments. Other times, the employee is stressed and barely holding on to their performance levels.
Burnout is when your employees are exhausted and just don’t have the energy to do their job with enthusiasm and high levels of performance. The causes can be the job responsibilities, the business structure or even their own personalities can impact stress levels.

Your wedding is the most romantic time of your life. Nothing else is quite like the bliss of the day you marry your true love. Why not make some extra special memories by surprising your new spouse with a romantic gesture at the reception?
One of the sweetest moments I ever witnessed at a reception took place at a yacht club overlooking a beautiful lake. After dinner, the band stopped playing and the bride made her way to the microphone with a guitar. She serenaded her new husband with a touching song that she had written just for him. It turned out that the bride had been practicing for months in preparation to surprise the groom with a very special declaration of her love for him. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

I get a real kick out of all the arguments on forums about just about anything when it comes to marketing. The most recent argument that I have had the pleasure of hearing was the one about duplicate content. I am sure you are all aware of it. Everybody screams about duplicate content, but nobody really understands it. In this article, I am going to finally and once and for all put aside the myth of duplicate content so that you understand exactly what you were supposed to do and not do when it comes to it. Hopefully, by the time you are done reading this, you will finally understand what duplicate content really is.

The customer experience needs to be exceptional within every interaction specific to your customer’s expectations. Not meeting those expectations is a recipe for disaster.
Case in point. Today, I went out at my usual 4:30am CDT to retrieve my daily newspaper so that I could begin my regular weekday routine. Unfortunately, there was no paper. Given that my delivery service is highly consistent, my thought was that there might have been a press problem and it will come later.
Four hours later, the paper had not arrived. I called the home delivery service telephone number and received, you guessed it, an automatic telephone response system because all customer service representatives were busy now. Does this sound familiar?
