A few days ago I had to stop by my local college’s library for a research book
for a project I have at work. I needed to talk to a librarian who was not on the main floor of the library, but who had an office on the 3rd floor. When I rounded the corner to enter her office, I was sort of stunned. All I could see of her from behind her desk was her head and shoulders. The rest of her was blocked by the huge piles of paper covering her entire desk. There was not one inch of desktop visible.

In the New Testament book
of Acts at Chapter 18 and verse 9, we read of how serious the situation was in Paul’s life. He is a strong man of God and yet he is being so sorely and severely tested that he can almost take no more, and the risen and living Lord Jesus Christ intervenes.
Now this does NOT happen often, but only when absolutely essential.
“The Will of God will never place you, where the Grace of God cannot keep you.”
He is in the sinful seaport of Corinth in Greece and the circumstances are dire.

Here is a problem you are probably facing right now, and you do not even realize! There is a fine line between wanting to succeed and actually succeeding. As you walk on the path to reaching your goals and achieving success, there are often obstacles you must overcome.
Two of the biggest obstacles are your own thoughts and habits. They distract you from your goals and instead of taking a straight road toward your goal, you walk a crooked path filled with pot holes and ditches. Most people have this one thing in common, and that is not being consistent in their actions.

It is the privilege of man to achieve all round greatness, and in reality success should be one’s habit. Man is essentially perfect, and therefore infinite are the possibilities that lie dormant in him.
In order to bring out the very best from within, a life organized and perfectly disciplined for the discovery of the potentialities that lie lurking within us, is a life well spent.
The vital point is not how many talents each on of us has, but the importance should be focused on how much of our existing talents, attributes and capabilities are we prepared to develop, exploit, explore and implement in our daily lives.
