Reducing stress and being more relaxed is also very important to staying healthy.
Of course we live in a stressful society and stressful time. And many of us have stressful jobs and family situations too.
Nevertheless there are still things you can do to help reduce the amount of stress in your life.

Isn’t the workday challenging enough without stressing yourself by forgetting to take care of something important? Well, that’s what happens when you make mental notes or write things on scraps of paper. Instead, employ the following technique consistently to track the glut of stuff (appointments, tasks, deadlines, etc.) that you want to recall and accomplish.
- In the office: When you receive a document, quick scan it to see if it’s pertinent to you. Then tuck any information you want to reference later, into a corresponding file or electronic folder. Treat verbal requests similarly.

When this happens you really do need to stop and take a step back and think carefully about what you are doing and why you are doing it. There is a lot of talk out there now about decluttering our homes to make our lives more simple. Of course, it is true that if you get rid of clutter you begin to feel more in control of your life.

Most of us can appreciate the health benefits provided by massage techniques. The facts are that many of us have never personally received a massage because paying a professional masseur for a 30-minute service can be very expensive. Many of us just do not have the time to go and visit the private clubs where massage services are available because of busy work or social schedules. Some of us prefer to keep our bodies private and feel uncomfortable and vulnerable in front of strangers wearing nothing but a towel.
